SFBT is a collaborative strengths-based approach that empowers you to build on your successes to create positive change in the present and the future. It concentrates on solution-building rather than problem-solving and guides you toward achievable goals through small, meaningful steps.
This approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with mindfulness practices to help you manage negative thoughts and emotions. It teaches techniques for staying present, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier thought patterns for lasting change. This can help improve coping skills to manage stress and anxiety and improve overall well-being.
Person-centred therapy focuses on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your feelings and experiences. The counselor offers genuineness, congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic understanding to help you develop self-awareness and make desired changes.
Incorporating spiritual beliefs with psychological approaches, this approach provides holistic support for emotional and mental well-being. This is included in sessions upon client invitation.

Sometimes life brings challenging situations that are hard to face or resolve on our own. We may go through times of recovery, loss, or transition and stress which can feel overwhelming.
Through a wide range of my own lived experiences, and as a counsellor, I understand the value of empathetic support. I'm here to offer a safe place for you to explore avenues of growth and healing. We’ll work collaboratively to create a trusting relationship and build a plan of action together so you feel empowered and equipped to move through life successfully.

Individual counselling session (Youth 14+, Adult)
50-60 minutes / $80
We require payment at the beginning of each session, and receipts will be provided by email. If your extended health benefits plan provider covers services, you may need to submit your receipts to them, so please retain them for your records.
Cancellation Policy
Your scheduled session time is reserved just for you. Missed appointments without 24 hours' notice will be subject to a full session fee.
